I've been thinking about an idea for a while.... I've started doing some research and writing about it. I'm still not sure which way I should go with this idea, so I though I would blog about it. Eventually I would like to meet like minded people to discuss this idea and even see it being created and used.
In a nut shell, this is my idea. Create a portal where my learning experiences would be stored, consolidated, analyses and catalogued. That's why I called it the Mind Atlas. We've gone a long way in many fields, brain research, artificial intelligence, programming, MOOC, psychology, etc... I think the time has come to have more synergy among them.
The idea behind MindAtlas was born by my own need. Out of love for knowledge, I've been studying many different fields and I don't realize sometime what I've learn trough this educational journey. Then the tough came to my mind, why can't this been done with the technologies we have at hand? Why can't I simply press a button and indicate that I've learn, read and studied a specific topic online, either via blogs, video or other media? Eventually a brain map could be drawn and I could even be tested to confirm that I understood it. And this would be done with the aid of current and future technologies.
